Hanoi, October 22, 2026 – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company (HOSE: CTD) is honored to be included in the Top 500 Most Profitable Companies in Vietnam 2026 (PROFIT500), announced by Vietnam Report and VietNamNet.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy CFO, represents Coteccons in receiving recognition in the Top 500 Most Profitable Companies in Vietnam and the Top 50 Vietnam Best Profitable Companies rankings for 2026
This year, Coteccons climbed 76 places to rank 139th in the Top 500 Most Profitable Companies in Vietnam and rose 37 places to rank 71st in the Top 500 Most Profitable Private Companies in Vietnam. The company also ranked 33rd in the Top 50 Vietnam Best Profitable Companies 2026, recognizing its progress in improving business performance and growth quality.
Published annually since 2017, PROFIT500 draws on independent research and assessments conducted by Vietnam Report, with input from domestic and international experts. Built on the principles of objectivity, scientific rigor, and independence, the ranking honors companies that operate efficiently and contribute positively to Vietnam’s economic development.
From Profit Growth to Operational Excellence
For Coteccons, this year’s rise in the rankings reflects improvements in business performance and operational efficiency. Its quality growth strategy translates into concrete actions across project selection, resource allocation, cost control, and receivables collection, with the aim of improving profitability and strengthening the financial foundation for expansion.
For fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026), Coteccons recorded consolidated net revenue of VND 34,340 billion, up 38%, and profit after tax of VND 788 billion, up 73% year on year. Gross profit reached VND 1,446 billion, an increase of 77%, lifting the gross profit margin from 3.28% to 4.21%. Profit growth outpaced revenue growth, while the improvement in gross profit margin demonstrated the company’s ability to generate more profit from each unit of revenue.
This positive momentum continued into the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (July 1–September 30, 2026), as reflected in the company’s estimated results. At the FY2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on October 20, 2026, Mr. Bolat Duisenov, Chairman of Coteccons’ Board of Directors, shared estimated first-quarter revenue of VND 11,270 billion and estimated profit after tax of VND 306 billion, equivalent to approximately 27% and 29% of the respective full-year targets. These figures represent an encouraging start toward the FY2027 targets of VND 42,000 billion in revenue and VND 1,050 billion in profit after tax.
Selecting the Right Projects and Building on Construction Expertise
Behind the improvement in profitability is Coteccons’ increasingly disciplined approach to project selection. The company carefully assesses clients’ financial capacity, project profitability, and the value each project can deliver. Beyond revenue and profit contributions, projects are also evaluated for their potential to strengthen construction capabilities and create long-term business opportunities.
In line with this approach, Coteccons focuses on technically demanding projects with stringent requirements for delivery schedules, quality, and international standards—areas where it can draw on its experience and project management expertise. Meeting clients’ complex requirements enables Coteccons to build a competitive advantage through execution quality while helping protect profit margins.
In the FY2026 Annual Report, Mr. Tran Ngoc Hai, Deputy General Director of Commercial Division, underscored: “We look beyond top-line expansion, proactively filtering for projects that deliver superior enterprise value—be it in revenue quality, profitability, or institutional capabilities.”
Managing Costs from the Supply Chain to the Construction Site
Alongside disciplined project selection, Coteccons continues to strengthen its operating systems to improve cost control during execution. Procurement has evolved toward end-to-end supply chain management, supported by closer coordination between specialist teams and on-site personnel. When discrepancies arise between the bill of quantities and actual site requirements, the Supply Chain team works with Project Directors to analyze the causes, update information, and implement timely adjustments.
The company also develops long-term relationships with strategic suppliers, diversifies sourcing, and prepares contingency plans. This approach helps Coteccons respond proactively to supply fluctuations, minimize construction disruptions, and manage costs. Operational efficiency is therefore built on consistent coordination across procurement, supply, and construction, aligning cost efficiency with project quality and timely delivery.
Three Drivers of Long-Term Growth
Operational improvements provide the foundation for Coteccons to expand in line with three forces shaping the future of construction: Urbanization, Industrialization, and Globalization. In urbanization, the company focuses on infrastructure and integrated urban amenity projects. In the industrial sector, Coteccons pursues opportunities arising from foreign direct investment (FDI), particularly in high-tech projects and data centers. Meanwhile, its Go Global strategy continues to bring Vietnamese construction expertise to international markets, with a target to increase overseas revenue three- to fourfold in fiscal year 2027.
With its FY2027 business plan and long-term priorities established, Coteccons continues to optimize resources, improve operational efficiency, and maintain financial discipline as it grows. Its advancement in PROFIT500 2026 recognizes the company’s efforts to date and provides further motivation to remain committed to quality growth, creating lasting value for shareholders, customers, partners, and the community.
