Fortune Southeast Asia 500 is an annual ranking compiled by Fortune magazine (United States), recognizing the 500 highest-revenue companies across seven Southeast Asian countries. The data is collected from publicly available sources and revalidated by two independent third-party organizations, Refinitiv and S&P Global Market Intelligence.

The certificate presentation took place at the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 Summit in Ho Chi Minh City under the theme “New Horizons, Enduring Growth.” The event brought together business leaders, policymakers, and representatives of Fortune Southeast Asia 500 companies to discuss the forces shaping Southeast Asia’s business environment.

Against an increasingly fragmented global economic backdrop, the summit emphasized the need for Southeast Asia to maintain its connections with international markets and supply chains while strengthening its ability to create and capture value, stimulate domestic demand, and deepen regional economic integration. Coteccons’ continued inclusion in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 represents a meaningful milestone in its journey to strengthen its regional position. Its business results and operational progress also demonstrate how the company is translating its quality growth strategy into practice, with efficiency and execution capabilities underpinning long-term development.

Quality Growth Built on Efficiency and Capital Discipline

Coteccons’ commitment to quality growth is further reflected in its results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. Net revenue reached VND 11,269 billion, up 51% year-on-year, achieving 27% of the annual target of VND 42,000 billion. Profit after tax totaled VND 305 billion, achieving 29% of the annual target of VND 1,050 billion and marking the company’s highest quarterly net profit in 31 quarters.

Despite strong revenue growth, inventories declined by 7%, while short-term trade receivables increased modestly by 5% compared with the previous quarter. Return on equity (ROE) reached 8.4%, up 1 percentage point year-on-year. Coteccons aims to raise ROE to 12% in FY2027 and 15–18% over the next two to three years, reflecting its focus on improving capital efficiency alongside business expansion.

Underlying these results is a shift from “winning more projects” to “selecting the right projects.” Coteccons places efficiency and risk management at the core of its business decisions while strengthening governance standards in line with the scale and complexity of its operations. Its quality growth strategy is guided by five non-negotiable principles: prioritizing efficiency and profit margins; protecting cash flow; ensuring occupational safety; tightening project selection and assessing partners’ financial capacity to limit the risk of bad debts; and pursuing selective international expansion.

During the first three months of FY2027, new contract wins totaled approximately VND 14,500 billion, bringing the backlog to VND 77,082 billion as of September 30, 2026. For Coteccons, the value of its backlog is closely tied to project quality, execution capabilities, and the financial returns each contract delivers. This secured workload provides a foundation for future periods while reinforcing the need to further strengthen project delivery and risk management.

Go Global: Building Solid Foundations for International Expansion

Alongside strengthening its domestic operations, Coteccons is progressively implementing its Go Global strategy, bringing Vietnamese construction expertise and engineering talent to international markets. Its experience serving global clients on projects for LEGO, Pandora, GE Vernova, Suntory PepsiCo, BW Industrial, and Mapletree, among others, provides a foundation for meeting international requirements. To develop its overseas operations systematically, CTD Global is focusing on three pillars: legal frameworks, finance, and people.

These preparations have translated into contracts and project execution overseas. In FY2026, Coteccons signed two contracts in Georgia with a combined value of approximately VND 1,200 billion, covering a data center project as the EPC contractor and a 44-story commercial tower in Batumi. During the same fiscal year, work also continued on three projects in Taiwan, providing further opportunities to build experience in construction delivery and resource management in international environments.
